Expected course shape

The 2026 Handbook describes a project-centred course. Students join a project, then a team of roughly 5–6 in Week 2. Historical outlines emphasise requirements, design decisions, prototypes and testing, teamwork, project management, and communication.

For CR01, low-risk preparation is mechanical prototyping, simple mechanisms, basic CAD, and microcontroller or servo fundamentals. These are preparation themes, not confirmed project requirements.
